In the golden autumn of September, the Tianshan Mountains north and south are adorned with clusters of flowers, radiating the festive atmosphere of the 70th anniversary of the autonomous region's founding. At this moment brimming with glory and hope, the industrial landscape of Khorgos gains a new highlight. On September 25, the production workshop of Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry Co., Ltd., located in the southern industrial park, roared with machinery as it officially commenced trial production.

Stepping into the production workshop, the intelligent production lines operate in an orderly fashion as raw materials gradually take shape through multiple processes. As a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of high-end pipelines, Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry primarily develops and produces specialized new green flexible reinforced composite pipelines (RTP/TCP) for applications in petroleum, natural gas, hydrogen energy, and other fields. These represent a new generation of oil and gas pipeline products with significant market potential. The products feature high-temperature resistance, high-pressure tolerance, and superior corrosion resistance. They also offer greater convenience in transportation, construction, maintenance, and replacement, along with enhanced safety performance and extended service life. With globally leading technology and products, the company primarily serves domestic markets—especially Xinjiang's oil and gas fields—while also targeting Central Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
Chen Yuanhong, an engineer at Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry Co., Ltd., stated: “A multifunctional RTP pipeline production line is now operational and undergoing trial production. Upon full-scale launch, annual output capacity will reach 600 kilometers.”

The company completed its registration in May last year, secured the land in July, and finalized preliminary planning, design, and approvals by September, marking the official commencement of construction. In just over a year, the site transformed from an empty plot to a bustling industrial zone with factories and humming machinery. The 20,000-square-meter standard factory building is spacious and well-lit, housing neatly arranged intelligent equipment. The 6,000-square-meter office building is nearing completion, featuring fully equipped functional areas including employee workspaces and R&D laboratories.
Zheng Zhiyong, Chairman of Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry Co., Ltd., stated: “Upon full production, the two Phase I production lines are projected to yield over 1,000 kilometers of pipe annually, generating approximately 350 million yuan in output value and creating over 50 jobs. We remain steadfast in our commitment to investing in Khorgos—it's an excellent location for entrepreneurship and job creation.”

In recent years, Korla has leveraged the institutional innovation advantages of the Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone to continuously deepen reforms in streamlining administration, delegating powers, and improving government services. It has introduced service measures such as “tailored policies for each enterprise” and “end-to-end assistance,” providing comprehensive support for businesses throughout the entire chain—from project approval and land supply to construction and production. During the advancement of the Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry project, the Khorgos Investment Promotion Service Center and relevant departments proactively reached out to the company, helping resolve challenges related to land use planning, construction permits, and equipment imports. This enabled the enterprise to focus entirely on construction and development.
Zheng Zhiyong stated: "Our investment in Khorgos benefits from the ‘rigidity and height’ of the ‘five-year tax exemption and five-year tax reduction’ policy, the ‘breadth and scope’ of access to Central Asian and Middle Eastern markets, the ‘depth and substance’ of government services and support for enterprises, the ‘brightness and speed’ of local social development, and the ‘warmth and hospitality’ of the local people. Our project is progressing as planned, which gives us even greater confidence. We will accelerate and increase our investment in projects to make greater contributions to local social and economic development!"
The successful trial production of Xinjiang Zhengliang Pipe Industry marks not only a significant milestone for the company but also another fruitful achievement in Khorgos's vigorous development of the real economy and active integration into the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. Khorgos will further consolidate its industrial foundation, earnestly implement the “41633” business environment system, continuously enhance its level of openness, and demonstrate greater contributions in serving the national strategy of opening up to the west.
